28ft Convex Bridge Sanding Jig with Fretwire Holder
28ft Convex Bridge Sanding Jig with Fretwire Holder
A practical guitar-making jig designed for accurately sanding the underside of acoustic guitar bridges before gluing them to the soundboard.
The jig features a 200 mm diameter convex sanding surface with a 28ft radius, allowing the underside of the bridge to be shaped to match the curvature of an arched guitar soundboard.
Traditionally, guitar makers place sandpaper directly onto the soundboard and sand the bridge against it. This can risk scratching or damaging the soundboard or its finish. Our jig provides a convenient alternative, allowing the bridge to be shaped separately before installation.
Supplied with a 200 mm Klingspor 120-grit self-adhesive sanding disc, which can be easily replaced when worn.
The jig also features 24 numbered fretwire storage slots (1–24), a small recessed compartment for accessories and a wall-mounting slot for convenient storage.
