The aim of this is to have our repeat customers, fretboards spec'd and ready for repeat CNC machining.
This setup fee does not include any fretboards or other services. The fee is to cover time needed to create custom files according to your specs,
in order to be able to machine this on the CNC machine.
We will still be offering our regular fretboard slotting and radius service, for which there is no setup fee.
In addition to slotting and radius, we will be able to offer an additional options:
- radius and scale not limited to common scales and radii
- fret slot ends can be hidden
- nut slot to a specific depth and width (if required)
- tapering of the fretboard

Please write in mm.
Fretboard job name - for example "Ned's Guitars bass fretboard" or if using more than one design for a guitar, please number the jobs as I will create job name folder for each setup.
Final thickness. The cnc machining will leave some routing marks. Please account this. The fretboard won't arrive smooth and will require a light sanding-finishing. Approx 0.3mm or similar.
The fretboard will have a small area at the top and the bottom used to carve a centre-line. You will have to flush cut this small piece.
