These are offcuts from making the Stradivarius Messiah skeleton mould.
They are approx 6mm smaller all around than the actual shape as they are waste product which can be used perhaps to help with bending the ribs or storing bent ribs etc or it can be used to make further jigs for the Messiah violin.
